Rifat Chadirji's Photographs

This part of the Kamil and Rifat Chadirji Photographic Archive contains the photographs taken by Rifat Chadirji (b. 1926), one of Iraq’s most important architects and a talented photographer in his own right. While most of the images are of people and places in Iraq, the collection also contains photographs of his architectural projects. Further documentation of Chadirji's architectural projects can be found in the Rifat Chadirji Archive, a separate archive devoted to his architectural practice also held by the Aga Khan Documentation Center.
