نقش جديد بخط الزبور اليماني
New Inscription in the Yemeni Minuscule Script
This is the first publication of a ten-line Zabūr inscription. Its paleographic style dates it to the third century AD. The text falls thematically within what we can define as epistolary inscriptions. It was written by the late Yusuf Muhammad Abdullah and the late Muhammad Ali al-Salami (Ṣanʿāʾ University, Yemen). We decided to publish it here because of its importance and the general scientific material it contains about plants in ancient Yemen.

هذا نشرٌ لأول مرة لنقش مكتوب بخط الزبور يحتوي على عشرة سطور ويمكن تأريخه وفقًا لنمط الخط بالقرن الثالث الميلادي. ويندرج النص موضوعيًا ضمن ما نستطيع تعريفه بنقوش الرسائل. قام بتأليفه المرحوم يوسف محمد عبدالله والمرحوم محمد علي السلامي (جامعة صنعاء، اليمن). وقد وجدنا نشره هنا لأهميته ولما يحتويه من مادة علمية عامة عن النباتات في اليمن القديم.
