This article reviews the types of residential building that were built in Saudi Arabia. There are examples from Najd Region and Old Riyadh, as well as traditional buildings from the cities in the Western Region, Mecca, Jeddah, Madinah and Yanbu. It illustrates houses with mashrabiya.
