1959-62 Survey
Called the Chillā of Niẕām al-Dīn Auliyā. Located near the northeast corner of the wall surrounding the Tomb of Humāyūṇ, outside the north wall. Grid ref. I-9
This is an east-facing building three bays wide and one bay deep, with a cross-vaulted ceiling and a flat roof. On the far wall of the central room, there is an opening that leads to the rooms beyond. Traditionally this place is known as the place where Shaikh Niẕām al-Dīn Auliyā carried out his religious activities, but it is unclear whether this is true. There are also ruins of a structure between this building and the surrounding wall of Humāyūṇ's tomb, but it is not known today what it was originally. Period II.

2015-18 Survey
This structure is located outside the north wall of Humayun’s tomb and is used as part of a religious facility. By 1959-62, the eaves (chajja) had fallen, but they have since been repaired. White stucco covers the facade and interior, shelving has been added to the east corridor, and the floors are paved with marble. Green shutters have been added to the facade, and the new religious facility has been built around it.
(Paragraph 2nd from the 2015-18 Survey is translated using ChatGPT)
Although Humayun’s tomb itself is oriented almost exactly to the cardinal directions, O29 is set at a slight angle. It is a rectangular building about 8 m east–west and 12 m north–south, with three arches opening on the east façade and eaves above, and its surrounding walls are battered inward (sloping). Inside, rectangular piers are repeated in the depth direction, supporting arches. It measures three bays in width and two bays in depth, and each bay is covered with a cross vault. The east side forms an open corridor, while the west side is enclosed by walls, with the central bay’s arch forming the entrance. In the rear room, the space has been divided by concrete walls into three parts (central and sides), but it is presumed that originally these three rooms were connected. Furthermore, in the section of the surrounding wall that continues from the south wall of the building, there is a corridor connecting to Humayun’s tomb, which is thought to have been installed after the construction of Humayun’s tomb.
