Nicolas Fayad is an architect and founding partner of EAST Architecture Studio. He studied architecture at the American University of Beirut before earning a master’s degree in architecture with distinction from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design. He is a recipient of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture, 15th Cycle, for EAST’s Renovation of the Niemeyer Guest House at the Rachid Karami International Fair in Tripoli, Lebanon, and was recently awarded the American University of Beirut’s Distinguished Alumni Award, honoring his achievements. In 2021, he was a visiting assistant professor of architecture at MIT and is currently an assistant professor of practice in architecture at the American University of Beirut.
