Gardens and Water Features

Of course no garden can be healthy without a water supply, but more often than not, water fountains, channels, and pools are also used as an essential aesthetic element of gardens. In Islamic gardents channels for water are seldom hidden or lain along edges in order to be unobtrusive.  Instead they usually run down the center, and are essential to demarcating the geometric symetry of the design. This collection provides some examples from the Archnet collection.
