The Aga Khan Trust for Culture Education Programme has supported the Barakat Trust, London, in developing a series of curated events called ‘Converging Paths’ undertaken in partnership with Asia House. The series shares the arts and heritage of the Islamic world through performances, exhibitions, film, discussions, and events that combine old and new—showcasing vibrant, creative, and inspiring cultural experiences. It seeks to raise awareness about the cultural richness of the Muslim world, with all its variety of peoples, cultures, and religions. 

Four events in 2020 focused exclusively on AKTC-related projects and initiatives. These were:

1. A podcast entitled The Importance of the Moon focusing on the importance of the moon in Islamic culture by Ulrike al-Khamis (Acting Director of the Aga Khan Museum, and co-curator of the exhibition); 
   
   
2. A podcast in May entitled The Gardens of Palestine with Lara Zureikat, landscape designer for the Palestine Museum, a winner of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (2019 cycle).
   
   
3. A podcast on Humayun’s Tomb and Sunder Nursery in Delhi by the Aga Khan Trust for Culture entitled Reviving the Cradle of Hindustani Culture delivered by Ratish Nanda, CEO, AKTC India. 
   
   
4. A webinar, The Pearling Path, about the Revitalisation of Muharraq, Bahrain (Aga Khan Award for Architecture, Winner 2019) given by Noura Al-Sayeh.
