This teacher resource supports the exploration of the International Baccalaureate (IB) theory of knowledge (TOK) through a case study of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture (AKAA). The two components have been designed to be used in conjunction with the IB's Theory of knowledge Guide (first assessment 2022). Students are encouraged to explore and reflect on what gives the arts their character and make comparisons and connections across the area of knowledge. This is the teaching companion.
