Russian Museum and Park Complex

The Russian Museum and Park Complex is built on a plot of land owned by the Russian Federation in Jericho. The complex consists of a museum building, archaeological excavation sites of Byzantine ruins, and a memorial park with an ancient sycamore said to be the tree that the tax collector Zacchaeus climbed up to see Jesus on his visit to Jericho in the gospel story Luke 19:1-5.
